Barbara was born to Wiliam C. and Norene D. Roberts in Richmond California on May 6th, 1947. She lived most of her life in Roy Utah but moved around a lot as a child and teen due to her father being in the Air Force but finally settled in Utah where she graduated from Weber High School.

She married William A. Spencer and had one daughter Christine A. Carpenter (Joseph) and later divorced to marry Joseph H. Miller and together they had 4 children Shannon Clark (Steve), Andrea Michelle (proceeded in death), William J. Miller (Lisa), and Michael J. Miller (Veronica) to later divorce. Later in life, she found a kind and loving man who took excellent care during her multiple health issues by the name of Horace F. Murphy who preceded her in death.

Barbara loved her children, grandchildren Michelle Williams (Madison), Cassandra Battelle, Andrea Spencer (Jason), Tayson Miller (), Brandon Battelle (preceded in death), Brickelle Miller, Quintin Miller, Charlize Miller, Mikela Miller and great-grandchildren Wrenleigh Jordon.

Some of Barbara's favorite things were listening to her grandchildren's activities, such as sports, and how they were doing in school. Seeing pictures of their animals and the antics they were up to. If you knew Barb you would know she was a huge Utah Jazz fan. Which I'm sure her neighbors and friends can attest to. She had a beautiful voice and loved to sign Elvis songs and enjoyed dancing to them. She loved her Coke Zero, nutter butters and baby chicken chimichanga's.

She was loved and will be missed.
