On November 20th 2020, Barbara Robinson passed away at the young age of 79. She was born in Grand Junction, Colorado May 23, 1941....15 minutes older than her best friend and dear sister Betty (the infamous red headed twins).
The last few years she wasn’t herself due to dementia, taking away her bright spirit. Those that were close to her knew she was always the life of the party or throwing an incredible party, either for family or friends and always putting everyone first before herself. No one left hungry. To know her was to love her.
She leaves behind a legacy that will be hard to fill. She was the most giving person and would take anyone into her tribe. She had a passion for making Christmas extra special, from her home, to working at Rainbow Gardens as the Christmas Tree lady, to creating a house in the Christmas Village. She enjoyed golfing and played in many leagues, but most will remember her golfing also included everyone having a shot of Tequila Rose.
She leaves behind her children, Cindy and Mike Knighton, Steve Howard, Jill and Lisa Brown Howard, and Rendal Robinson. Her grandkids Heather Robinson, Heidi and Steve Edwards, Taylor and Joe Feldmann, Zack and Taylor Knighton, Colby and Mandy Brown, and Erik Howard. Her great grandkids Preston, Miles, Jexxen, Jayde, Rylan and Bryson. Her younger red headed twin Betty and Reed Cornwell, brothers Frank Gower and Harry and Virginia Gower.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Larry, her mom and dad, Frank and Elizabeth and granddaughter Lindsey Knighton.
Due to COVID we are having only family members get together to share memories, thoughts and time in her memory. We will have a celebration of life at a later date.
We love you Barbara and will miss you terribly...hope you and Larry are having a cold one and hitting the golf course together.
