Barbara Ann Tarran Robison May 9, 1930 - March 31, 2015 Barbara passed away peacefully at her home in Ogden, Utah, Tuesday, March 31, 2015. She was born May 9, 1930 in Preston, Idaho, a daughter of Philip Maynard and Hattie Matilda Rasmussen Tarran. She graduated from Weber High School in 1948. She lived in Pleasant View, Morgan, Brigham City, Farr West and Ogden, Utah. Barbara married Kenneth C. Robison on April 26, 1957 in Pleasant View. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on June 21, 1960. They were later divorced. Kenneth passed away March 9, 1993. Together they had five beautiful children. Barbara worked at the Model Dairy and Weber Central Dairy. She retired from the First National Bank of Morgan after 23 years. She was a faithful member of the LDS Church; she served a two year mission to the Eastern States in 1953 - 1955. She also served a stake mission in the Ben Lomond Stake and a mission at the Bishops Storehouse in Brigham City. She served in the Primary, Sunday school, MIA, Relief Society and held various teaching positions. She enjoyed attending the temple regularly. Barbara always enjoyed her homes and loved decorating them. She enjoyed being outside and doing yard work as well as the inside work. She loved to sew, embroider, crochet, play the organ and do crafts. She enjoyed her grandchildren and playing games with them. She loved to eat out with friends and family members. Christmas was a special time to get together, Barbara loved music and dancing. She always wanted to leave things better than she found them. Barbara is survived by one son and three daughters: Julie Bourne, Lynette (Bret) Howard, Bruce Kenneth (Jennilyn) Robison, and Paula (Randy) Bingham; 14 grandchildren and three great grandchildren; siblings: Philip R.(Ellen Lou) Tarran, and Nancy (Jon) Moore; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Barbara is preceded in death by one daughter, Jody McGinnis and one brother, Terrance (Terry) B. Tarran. A viewing will be held on Friday, April 3, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, UT. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 11:00 am at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden. Friends may visit with the family at the mortuary one hour prior to the services from 10:00 to 10:45 am. Interment, Leavitts Aultorest Memorial Park.
