Bert John Raymond, 78, passed away on December 14, 2017. He was born on August 3, 1939, to Elmer George Raymond and Alice Wood in Ogden, Utah, where he lived most of his life. Bert graduated from Weber State College. Bert had been a proud member of the LDS Church since 1946 and held the office of Elder. He held a strong appreciation for the Temple and love for family. He served in the Air Force and the Army National Guard. He is survived by his four daughters, Janet Lee Hofer of San Jose, CA, Nancy Ann Welshhons of Ogden, UT, Sherrie Lynn Raymond of Salt Lake City, UT, and Penny Marie Riffel of Hutchinson, KS; 26 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Bert is preceded in death by his parents, sister Irene and brothers George and Fred. Funeral services will be held at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah on Saturday, December 30, 2017, at 11:00 am with a viewing prior to services at 10:00 am.
