Beth Terry's Obituary

Our amazing mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, aunt and friend Lola Beth Welsh Terry passed away peacefully on 24 February 2019. Beth was born on 8 February 1927 in a log cabin on the banks of the Weber River in Morgan, Utah to Elizabeth Spendlove and Acy Welsh. She was the youngest of their eight children. Beth was not only beautiful, she was truly one of the sweetest, happiest and most loving souls God ever sent to earth. She married the absolute love of her life, Eugene Fuller Terry, on 21 July 1945, he passed away on 19 October 2003. Beth loved her family with all her heart, and cherished her time spent with her grandchildren, Hayley Butler, Andrew Butler, Celeste Collins, Jenny John, Annie Collins, Amber Jensen, Allison Stawski, Chase Terry and Lucas Terry. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Beth was an amazing wife, mother, homemaker, seamstress and cook. Life will never be the same without her famous apple pie. She retired from the Internal Revenue Service. Beth is survived by two daughters and one son, Pamela Butler (Brent), Connie Collins (Kent) and Robert Terry (Anita), nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, her son, Scott Terry, and siblings, Josephine Archer, Reed Welsh, Ramona Whitten, Arzella Neville, Glenna Nicklaus, Gerald Welsh and Donald Welsh. Everyone who had the fortune to meet our mother fell in love with her because of her natural kindness and loving ways. We will be forever grateful for the loving care given to her by Jenae Osman and the staff at both Lotus Park and Layton Park Memory Care and during the last few months by the staff at SunRidge Memory Care. A private funeral service and Celebration of Beths Life was held at Leavitts Mortuary, Ogden, Utah. Internment at Aultorest Memorial Park.
