Betty Cornwell passed away peacefully in Ogden, Utah on June 6, 2026. She was 85 years old.

Betty was born in Grand Junction, Colorado on May 23, 1941 to Frank and Elizabeth Gower. She married Samuel Reed Cornwell in Ogden, Utah on July 31, 1959.

Betty worked at Hill Air Force Base for many years. She loved golfing, spending time outdoors and enjoying a good laugh.

She leaves behind her sons, Ron and Scott Cornwell, her granddaughters, Nicole (Marcus) and Alli (Luke), great granddaughter Tylee, great grandsons Sage and Nash, and her brothers Frank Gower and Harry (Virginia) Gower.

She is so loved and will be deeply missed by her family, many close friends and neighbors.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
