Betty Jean Crenshaw, 72, passed away October 10, 2011. She was born May 9, 1938 to Fred and Thelma Pewtress in Ogden, UT. In 1954 she married Verl Deppen in Ogden, UT., they were later divorced. Betty loved thrift shopping, garage sales, flowers and her dog Buddy. She worked for the Forest Service for 10 years and was a faithful member of the Jehovahs Witnesses church.She is survived by 4 sons: Paul (Chris) Deppen, Rod (Tammie) Deppen, Troy (Tiffany) Deppen, Shawn Shepherd, daughter; Shirlene (Steve) Wilson, Sister Margaret OToole, 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by both her parents, two brothers: Bob and Glen Pewtress, sister, Laura Ward, two sons: Verl and Walter Deppen and one granddaughter ShannaLee DeppenGraveside services will be held Monday, October 17, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Leavitts Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th Street, Ogden, under the direction of Leavitts Mortuary.
