Betty Jo McMahon Martin Thompson, 86, entered into eternal peace on Monday, April 11, 2016 at the Ogden Mountain View Assisted Living Facility. Betty was born on February 22, 1930, a daughter of the late George and Jewel McMahon. She was married to Melvin Martin of Mesa, Arizona and later Vance Thompson of Dunn Center, North Dakota. Betty is survived by her three children, Donald Martin, Sandra Martin Tomney (Ron), and Tod Thompson (Camile); six grandchildren, Ryan (Amy), Brandie, Don Jr., Jason (Penny), Mindy (Sam) and Dari. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Jewel; one granddaughter, Christy Lynn; her siblings, Gordon, Paul, Thomas, Mildred, Roscoe and G.W. Death brings pain that time can only heal, No words could ease what we truly feel, But with God, her joy is eternally sealed, And cherish her memories that death cant steal Lift up a smile for she is already in paradise The family wishes to sincerely thank all those at Mountain View who have kept a vigil watch over her during her time with you.
