Blanche Weston Mower, 90, died on November 25, 2013. She was born May 29, 1923 in Ogden, Utah to Walter Weston and Jennie Alberts Weston. She married Frank Harold Mower on January 2, 1940 in Ogden. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. She lived in Ogden, Riverdale, Clearfield, Roy, and Clinton, Utah. She was employed at The Ogden Arsenal and Hill Air Force Base - from where she retired. She was active in the LDS Church, serving in the Primary and Relief Society. She served three missions with her husband at the Mesa Arizona Visitors Center, Salt Lake Genealogy at the Church Office Building, and served a stake mission for the Roy Stake. She was a visiting teacher for 49 years. Surviving are her three sons and one daughter: Daryl Jay (Dee) Mower, Mesa, Arizona, Heber Glen (Pat) Mower, Kaysville, Frank Weston (Vickie) Mower, Murray, and Jeanne Ann (Richard) Lee, Clinton. Ten grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren. Her Sweetheart Frank passed away May 9, 1995; they had 55 years together. Her greatest joys were her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Her hobbies were golf, crocheting, hardanger, and knitting. She took 1st place at the County and State Fairs-she gave away freely. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, two sisters, two great-granddaughters, and one great-grandson. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation and gratitude to all her Hospice Workers, especially her two nurses, Shad and Heather, Angie, Madi, and many others, Tiffany from Home Care, Courtney, and all the other Caregivers at Country Pines who gave such loving care and attention to Blanche. Your love and kindness will always be remembered. Funeral services for Blanche will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, December 2, 2013 at the Clinton North Stake Center, 1800 N. 1500 W., Clinton, Utah. A viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah, Sunday, December 1, 2013 and on Monday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the church prior to services.
