Bonnie Griffin Eldredge Died on April 12, 2011. She was born on September 15, 1926 in Logan, Utah to Rula Nielsen Griffin and George Duke Griffin. Bonnie attended Logan High School, graduated the Class of 44, and then attended Utah State University. She worked at Defense Depot Ogden as a Timekeeper for the Adjuant General Division. In 1946 was married to Vernon Douglas Eldredge, they had two wonderful children; Kent Douglas (Laurie Jean) Eldredge, and Susan Bangerter; two grandchildren, Jamie and Heather Bangerter which she adored. Bonnie worked many years at Hilltop Lanes and Lakeside Lanes. She also worked 15 years for the Utah Liquor Commission. She served as President of the Ogden Womens Bowling Association for 3 years. In 1979 Bonnie was inducted into the Ogden W.B.A. Hall Of Fame, and in 1989 inducted into the Utah State Hall Of Fame. She was selected by the Utah State Proprietors Association as Bowler of The Year in 1961.She was a member of the Ogden Golf and Country Club and in 1980 won the Club Championship, and enjoyed playing on the Ladies team for many years. Bonnie was an avid sports fan and loved watching them all on T.V.She always said she has had a great life, a lot of wonderful friends, and is grateful for everything. Preceding her in death are her husband, her parents, a brother, and sister. Bonnie is survived by; her children, one brother, Julien G. Griffin, Logan, UT. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Childrens Primary Hospital would be much appreciated her granddaughter Jamie was so gratefully treated there at a very young age for Leukemia. The family wishes to thank Aspen Care Center for the special care given to Bonnie.Graveside services will be held on Monday, April 18, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Leavitts Aultorest memorial park, 836 36th Street, Ogden. Family will meet with friends one hour prior to services on Monday at Leavitts Mortuary.
