Brad Amidan Courtney passed away peacefully at home on Friday morning, April 11, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Brad was 72 years old born in Ogden Utah on November 4th to Ivan and Joyce Courtney.

Brad is preceded in death by his incredible parents Ivan and Joyce and brothers Ivan J, Jeff and Chris, daughter Melissa as well as step grandson Triston Gray.

Brad is survived by his devoted and loving wife Janet of 37 wonderful years filled with travel and adventure making a beautiful life with their 5 children as well as 9 grandchildren and 1 great Grandchild: Brandee & husband Greg (Courtney, Grayson & Ashton) Brandon, Tisa & fiancé Billy (Tyrell), Jenny (Austin {Theo}, Phoenix), Breeanna & husband Jon (Myah, Macee, Mirra) as well as one sister Cindy (Michael)

Brad was a loyal man who made a lifetime career with one single company, Freeport Center in Clearfield UT for 46 years retiring in 2017. Brad was a skilled tradesman who was widely known and respected for his vast knowledge of tools, woodworking and machinery. His most beloved role was always "Grandpa"

Brad was revered and adored by his family and will be greatly missed.

A private remembrance for Brad will be held.
