Brad Jay Galvez's Obituary

Brad Jay Galvez, 52, departed this life to receive his eternal reward on Tuesday, December 10, 2013. The son of Fred, Jr. and Gayla Galvez was born December 13, 1960 and raised in Ogden, Utah. He attended Ogden High, WSU, and graduated from USU with his MBA. He was sealed to his eternal companion, Lisa Lyn Weaver, in the Ogden LDS temple and has enjoyed her love and support for over 30 years. He leaves a legacy of hard work, integrity, and service instilled into the hearts and minds of his four children; Joshua (Tiffany), Jenilyn (Jason), Justin, and Jordana and five grandchildren. They will be forever grateful for his enduring love. He was known as a man of impeccable integrity and principle. His life was full of service to others, which never ceased. If he was not spending time with his family, he was serving others through his church callings or the community at large. Never doing anything halfway, he would work and serve until the job was done right. Brad was an exemplar of one being anxiously engaged in a good cause. He served as Chairman of the Ogden Utah Pioneer Days Foundation Board, member of the Utah House of Representatives, Chairman of West Haven planning commission, in Rotary Club and in many other organizations. He was proud to be a member of the Utah Farm Bureau. He influenced the lives of all that were around him for good.
