Bradley (Brad) J. Skinner, age 88, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2026.

Born on June 6, 1938, Brad lived a life defined by hard work, excellence in business, and love for his family. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force for nine years.

Following his military service, he spent many years building a successful foundation in the tire and automotive field.

In his early life, Brad was married to Lorraine Mccrone, with whom he shared two children. On February 14,1970, Brad married his second wife and the love of his life, Luanne "Lu" Goucher Young. Together, they embarked on a beautiful, life-long partnership. They were later sealed for time and all eternity in the Ogden Temple.

In 1983, Brad and Lu moved to Eden, where they became deeply involved in the sale and rental of Wolf Lodge Condominiums. This sparked Brad's passion for property management, and he began building a thriving business managing both short-term and long-term recreational and residential rentals. A true professional, Brad became a licensed real estate Broker and purchased a RE/MAX franchise. He successfully owned and operated several offices until selling the businesses in 2008. He continued to be an active Realtor into his mid-70s. Brad was known by all as a very kind, honest, and professional man who was deeply loved by many.

Outside of his professional life, Brad loved snow skiing, but he was always happiest when he was out on his boat.

Brad was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lu, his mother, father and a grandson, Wesley Wallerstein. His legacy lives on through his large and loving family.

Brad is survived by his children, Randahl Skinner and Christine (Todd) Nelson; his step-daughters, Marcie (Lamar) Bott, Kay (Rex) Peterson, Tami Wallerstein, and Teri Downey; grandchildren Jesse McCormick, Stephanie Skinner-McCormick, Jason (Jamie) Holody, Angi (Travis) Toone, Gifford (Erin) Bott, Blake (Kyleen) Bott, Sydney (Josh) Bond, Brooke Peterson, Tyson (Kiani) Wallerstein, Ashley (Chris) Wood, Dani Stonehocker, Chris (Crystal) Stonehocker, and Shelbi Stonehocker; great-grandchildren Jake Toone, Jackson Toone, Gabe (Erin) Bott, Caroline Bott, Elder Simon Bott, Anderson Bott, Atlas Bott, Kobyn (Heather) Bond, Breckyn (Tayler) Bond, Brighton Bond, Sister Aspyn Bond, Skylyn Bond, Ambry Peterson, Hunter Wesley Wallerstein, Savanah Wallerstein, Tylin Kelly and Addison Kelly; one great-great-grandchild, Indy Bond; and finally his stepsister, Wendy Price of Van Nuys, California.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 7th, 2026, at 11:00 AM, at Leavitt’s Mortuary and Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah 84403, with a viewing starting at 9:30 AM at the same location. Interment will follow at Aultorest Memorial Park, with a luncheon to celebrate Brad held directly after in Leavitt’s waterfall atrium.
