Bruce Allan Dean, 55 of West Wendover, NV passed away May 13, 2013 in Roy, UT. He was born June 30, 1957 to William A. Dean and Velma Fagan Kunz in Madison, WI. He was a graduate of Davis High School and Weber State University. He married Cindie Perkins May 16, 1980 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple.Bruce devoted his life to his family. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he served in multiple church callings, including a full time mission in the Lansing Dearborn, Michigan Mission. He worked as a controller throughout northern Nevada in the gaming industry. He found enjoyment in building and maintaining his 340 gallon fish aquarium. He enjoyed tying flies, reading, cooking, fishing, hunting, gardening and spoiling all his grandchildren. He fought valiantly against his disease and he will be greatly missed by his family.Bruce is survived by his wife, Cindie; 4 children, Lance Allan (Dawn) Dean, Brittney Joan (Joseph) Buist, Mitchell William (Kiley) Dean, and Bruce Lee Dean; 8 grandchildren, Kyleigh, Bailyn and Trevyn Buist, Lizzie Dean, Macoy and Kynnedi Dean, Nickole and Jacob Ellison; mother, Velma Kunz; sister, Nora (Manuel) Reyes, 3 brothers, William R. (Paula) Dean, Rick (Nancy) Dean and David (Cindy) Dean.Preceded in death by his father William Allan Dean and his grandson, Colton Allan Dean.Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th St., Ogden, UT.
