Caitlyn Jerica McIver, beloved angel, born May 7th,1991, in Ogden, Utah, passed peacefully away at Mackay-Dee Hospital on March 7th, 2012, due to complications from a car accident 13 years ago. Caitlyn was 20 years old. Think for a moment what Caitlyn would wish for us all.She would want us to find enjoyment when we think of her, she would want to be our guardian angel. Now she has that chance, we have only to open our hearts and minds to the wonders around us, and most certainly she will come to us in ways we cannot imagine. Caitlyn will become a source of courage for us all as she helps make our hearts larger, and walls of pain crumble and fall before us. Caitlyn enjoyed going with her grand-mother to the Golden Hours Center, where she would dance with the older gentlemen, joke, and tell stories.Caitlyn enjoyed many things; music, singing, the ocean, the mountain lakes near Pinedale where her family often vacationed, shopping, movies and much more.Caitlyn enjoyed these many things, even through the adversity of her health problems might be felt as a brush of her wing for us now, to enjoy what we each are given every day. Caitlyn attended Ogden High School. Caitlyn was preceded in death by her grand-mother, Dixie Carr.They are together somewhere dancing at the Golden Hours Center and laughing of it all. Caitlyn is survived within her immediate family by her mother and father Mike and Jeri McIver, brothers Logan McIver and Justin Hoffman, sister Jennifer Freemyers, grand-parents Duane and Louella McIver and Charles and Rose Schwab. Leavitts Mortuary will host a viewing at 9:45-10:45 A.M. Tuesday the 13th of March, 2012 with a service at 11:00 A.M. at 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah.
