Calista leaves family and friends from Mission Viejo, CA, Seguin, WA and Ogden, UT. All love her for her sweet spirit and dedication to her membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served many positions in her wards and especially loved her service in the Seattle and Ogden Temples.
Her life encompassed quilting, genealogy, gardening, and embroidery. She was an accomplished medical transcriber. She loved to collect gnomes, Viking Warriors and Norwegian Elkhounds.
As she dealt with the complications of cancer, she came to love her care providers: Dr. Carl Gray and Dr. Mike Nielsen. Her cancer support group was very important for her as well. McKay Dee Hospital Services were of the most professional. The family thanks you for your support and asks that in lieu of flowers you make a contribution to Intermountain Health Care Foundation - McKay Dee Hospital.
Calista is survived by five children, 24 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren. Calista is preceded in death by her spouse and two children.
