Carol V. Gaskill, 68 passed away October 20, 2014. She was born July 16, 1946 to Howard and Glenna Valentine in Zanesville, Ohio. Carol graduated from Weber State University. She married Don Gaskill in Ogden, Utah August 28, 1965. Carol was the Budget Director of Weber State University for 18 years. She was an active volunteer with the Junior League of Ogden and the YCC of Ogden. Carol enjoyed traveling, golfing and spending time with her family. Carol is survived by her husband Don; her son Don (Jennifer) Gaskill Jr; daughter Carin Maurer; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Carol is preceded in death by her parents and her half brother. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday October 24th, 2014 at Leavitts Mortuary, 836-36th St. in Ogden, Utah. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00-1:45 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the YCC of Ogden or your favorite charity.
