Carol T. Gibbs, age 89, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on April 5, 2018. She was born, July 18, 1928 to David D. and Helen E. Thomas in Arlington, Massachusetts.
Carol graduated from Central High School in Manchester, New Hampshire and attended the University of New Hampshire. She married Carter B. Gibbs in Bedford, New Hampshire September 7, 1947. They were married 70 years.
Carol was a medical transcriber at Ogden Regional and McKay-Dee hospitals for over 20 years. She enjoyed skiing, antelope hunting, and salmon fishing. She vacationed frequently with her husband and family and loved to travel. Carter and Carol made 20 annual summer trips to Alaska and New Hampshire in their R.V. She was active in the Pine Tree Club and enjoyed sewing, knitting, reading, and western movies at home.
She was a dedicated and loving wife and mother who always put her family first.
Surviving family members are her husband Carter, her son Scot Gibbs and his wife Amberly; her daughter Gail Moses; grandchildren Dylan Gibbs, Cheyanne Gibbs, Liam Morgan, Mackenzie Belanger and her husband Wyatt; and great-grandson Wyatt Carter Belanger.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 11th at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th St., Ogden, UT at 2:00 pm. Family will greet friends from 12:4 5 pm - 1:45 pm prior to the funeral service.
Interment in Leavitts Aultorest Memorial Park.
