Carol Lowther, 82, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2015. Carol was being visited and comforted by her niece, Ginger Huerta, and her family at Stoney Brooke Assisted Living at the time of her passing. Carol was born December 27, 1932 to Robert and Elizabeth Lowther in Ogden, Utah. Carol graduated from Weber County High School in 1950. Carol never married nor had children. Carol worked at Deseret Industries on Washington Blvd. for over 30 years. She was an avid genealogist and her passion was quilting. Carol was a member of the LDS Sullivan Hollow ward for over 40 years where she served as librarian for many years. Carol is survived by one sister Suzann Wilmette of Porter, Maine, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. Carol is preceded in death by her parents and numerous siblings.
