Carol O. SkrepcinskiOgden-Carol O. Skrepcinski, 90, a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother died Sunday, January 8, 2012 with her family by her side. She was born 1921 in Logan, Utah, the first born daughter of Eulalia Yeates and Joseph Olsen of Hyrum, Utah. In the turbulent years of World War II and just prior to his deployment to the South Pacific, she married her beloved husband Frank B. Skrepcinski in 1942 in Sparks, NV. After 56 years of marriage, he passed away February 24, 1998. Carol grew up in Hyrum and lived her entire adult life in Ogden. She worked at the Defense Depot Ogden for many years and was an active member of the American Business Womens Association. She loved traveling, her roses and gardening. She doted on her grand- and great grandchildren and treasured their visits.Carol is survived by her sisters, Gayle Rowe, Odgen, Karen Ann Roberts, South Ogden and Sue Jensen, Mesa, AZ; children Fred B. Skrepcinski, Edgewood, NM and Lisa S. Gourley, Park City. She was preceded in death by her brother, Clyde Olsen, Roy, sister, Yvonne Gunderson, Rawlins, WY and daughter Francine J. Kramer, Las Vegas, NV. She was blessed with four grandchildren, Jennifer Liddell, Lacy Lewis, Alyssa Skrepcinski and Beau Gourley. She had six great grandchildren.A graveside service will be held Friday January 13, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at the Hyrum City Cemetery. Services under the direction of Leavitts Mortuary.
