On Thursday, May 28, 2015, our beautiful, loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, Carol Janet Stokes Taylor, passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was born September 6, 1938, in Ogden UT to Loyal C. Stokes and Gladys V. Stone. She graduated from Ben Lomond High School. On March 30, 1956, she married her loving husband of 59 years, William Larry Taylor, and they were later sealed in the Logan Temple on August 6, 1965. She loved flowers and worked at Ogden City Floral for over 25 years. She faithfully served many callings for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, callings involving the youth were her favorite. Carol loved her family more than anything. She loved to spend time going on adventures with them any chance she could get. She would do anything for anyone. She always had a smile on her face and a kind word to share. She loved, laughed, and lived life to the fullest. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband William Larry Taylor; her 5 children, Cathy Familo, LeAnn (Drieu) Bott, Bradley (Denise) Taylor, Lori (Kirt) Van Natta, Shelly (Duane) Park; 21 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by one grandson Daniel William Taylor, two sisters, and both of her parents. A Viewing will be held Monday, June 1, 2015 from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th St., Ogden, UT. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Washington Terrace 8th Ward, 350 W. 5100 S., Washington Terrace.
