Carolyn A. Miller, 83, passed away January 24, 2017 in Layton, Utah. She was born March 21, 1933 to Frances and Clarence Brewer in Portland, Oregon. She was a traditional housewife raising six children. She was married to Harold C. Miller in Albuquerque, New Mexico, December 6, 1952 where they met while stationed at Kirkland A.F.B. while they both served in the Air Force. Her military life included service as Airman Third Class from 1952-1953. Carolyn and Harold found a wonderful home and community in South Weber, Utah. She always had a love of family, enjoyed camping, cooking and was a fabulous homemaker. She was a true friend to many. Carolyn is survived by her children; Richard, Michael, Elizabeth, Mathew, Rhonda, Blake, and 45 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her spouse Harold C. Miller, her son, Harold, and two grandchildren, Melynda and Alyx Ann. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Leavitts Mortuary, 836-36th St., Ogden, Utah. There will be a viewing from 9:00 9:45 a.m., service will be at 10:00 a.m. with interment at Camp Williams at 2:30 p.m., preceded with a 21-gun salute.
