Carolyn Lee Harmon Moore, age 80, peacefully returned to our Heavenly Father on March 13, 2024. Carolyn was born on April 20, 1943, to Levi David Harmon and Erma Ilene Christensen in Antioch, CA.

After graduating from Antioch High School, Carolyn worked as a cosmetologist for many years. She moved to Utah in 1981 where she worked for Unisys, a global technology solution company, on the manufacturing production line. Carolyn retired from Unisys and moved to Ogden in 1997 to be close to extended family.

Carolyn loved her great-nephews and great-nieces and spent many hours with them during the summer at the pool. The rule was you had to have an adult with you in order to have friends over and use the pool in the backyard, so Carolyn was happy to accommodate the requirement while parents were at work. There were many hours of fun and laughter in swimming, playing video games and arts and crafts. A favorite memory is making stained glass art window clings that were purchased with many other things from QVC. Fun had to come to an end for two hours each day for General Hospital and Days of Our Lives. During this time, Carolyn would enforce the chores that needed to be done before parents got home.

Carolyn was a pet lover and had many loyal companions during her life. Raggs, Pepper and Bailey were faithful companions to Carolyn over the years. She also had several cats that would rely on her for love and care.

Carolyn was introduced to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints by her close friend Donna Ewer. She was baptized in 2002 and entered the Temple in 2003 to complete her endowment. Carolyn loved to host the sister missionaries anytime she had the chance and held on to lifelong friendships with them.

Along with her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her brother Derral L Harmon, nephew Mark Harmon and niece Marilyn Harmon. Carolyn is survived by many nieces and nephews. Lesia (Robert) Hatch, Kevin Harmon, Deeann (Kevin) Cassady, Brandon (Stevi) Bowman Kyle (Chelle) Harmon, Curtis (Rachel) Harmon, Amanda Hubbard, and Emilee Harmon.

Services will be held at Leavitt's Mortuary located at 836 36th Street, Ogden, UT, on Saturday March 23, 2024, at 2:00 PM. A viewing will be held 30 minutes prior.

The family would like to thank the staff and administration of Mt. Ogden Health and Rehabilitation who have provided love and care for Carolyn the past 11 months.
