Charlaine Turner Sutton, 83, with her family by her side, returned to her Heavenly Home, Wednesday, May 6, 2015. Charlaine was born September 9, 1931 to Horace and Florence (Perry) Turner in Corrine Utah. She married Chad Sutton on August 2, 1950. They were later sealed on August 2, 1971 for Time and all Eternity in the Salt City Lake Temple. She was loved by all who knew her. She touched many lives through her kind acts of compassion. Moms concern for others was much greater than for herself. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She served in many callings including a counselor in the Relief Society presidency, primary teacher, and visiting teacher. Charlaine loved planting flowers in her yard, hunting and fishing with her family (in her younger years), and scrapbooking the many pictures she took of her family. She worked at Hill Air Force Base until retiring. She then established and operated C & C Flowers for several years. Charlaine is survived by her son, Curtis (Janae) Sutton; her four grandchildren: Angie (Paul) Pitts, Jenny (Joe) Fairbanks, Matt (Shannon) Sutton, and Christopher Sutton; nine great-grandchildren and one on the way. Charlaine was preceded in death by her husband Chad; son Craig; and great-granddaughters, Kaylee and Shalee Pitts. We want to thank the staff at Fairfield Village Assisted Living for their kindness to Mom over the past 22 months. A special thanks to Patti and Hailey from Ashby Home Health. We would also like to thank Susan and Kelsie, who had a special place in moms heart from Tender Care Hospice for their care and compassion given to mom during her last days. A viewing will be held Tuesday, May 12, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah on Tuesday May 12, 2015. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday May 13, 2015 at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah. Friends may visit with the family prior to services from 9:45 to 10:45 am. Interment in the Aultorest Memorial Park following services.
