Charlene Edna Gavin October 22, 1931 - February 4, 2014 Together Again Charlene R. Gavin was born October 22, 1931 in Ogden, Utah, and was raised in South Ogden. She was the youngest child of Charles and Edna Richards. Her childhood was spent in South Ogden and also where she met Keith Gavin the love of her life. They continued their love affair for the next 63 years. They spent many wonderful years traveling and camping with a caravan of family and friends. Charlene worked as a craft seamstress while raising her two children Doug and Sandee. She also worked as a waitress. She retired from DDO where she won many awards for outstanding achievement. She blessed the life of all her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Survived by her daughter Sandee Gavin; grandchildren Daniel Cottrell, Belinda Cottrell, and four great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, husband and son. She was a member of the L.D.S. church. Memorial services will be Monday, February 10, 2014 at 11:00 am at the L.D.S. 7th Ward, 5127 S. 2400 W., Roy, UT. Services under the direction of Leavitts Mortuary, 836 - 36th St., Ogden, UT. Inurnment will be at Aultorest Memorial Park, 836-36th St., Ogden, UT.
