Charles Francis Keller's Obituary

Charles Francis Keller, husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother-in-law, and uncle returned to reunite with his parents, Charles A. and Madeline Keller on January 11, 2019. He was shy of his 81st birthday. He was born on January 19, 1938 in Omaha, Nebraska. On September 12, 1964 he married Josephina Mutsaers at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Ogden, Utah. The union of this couple brought four children into the world: Robert Charles (deceased), Charlene, Christopher, and Anthony. Charles attended and graduated from Ogden High School. He was employed at Utah Power & Light for many years along with a part time career to allow for his family to enjoy the outdoors. He was an avid deer hunter and a fisherman. He enjoyed camping with his family and friends at Flamingo Gorge, Yost, and Hyrum State Park. He enjoyed teaching, whether it is to Boy Scout Troop 191, soccer, or his accordion. He was a member of St. Marys Mens Club; Fraternal Order of Eagles; and the Roy Elks. He enjoyed working out in his yard until his health did not allow. He had a sense of humor and a laugh that no one can forget. Charles was preceded in death by his son, Robert Charles and his parents, Charles A. and Madeline Keller. He is survived by his wife, Josephina and three children: Charlene Sansone, Christopher (Deanna) Keller and Anthony (Michelle) Keller. He is also survived by his brothers, Gene (Caroline) Keller and Gary (Diane) Keller. He was Opa to this grandchildren: Dachota (Ashleigh) Keller, Alex (Samantha) Sansone, Zachary (Bayden) Cain, Brennen Keller, Jordan (Peyton) Sansone, Rowdy Keller, Garrison Keller, Addison Keller, and Tucker Keller. He was a great-grandfather to Braelynn Keller. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Inspirations Health homecare and Hospice, especially Carol, Ronda, Alan and Chris. There will be a viewing at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th St., Ogden, UT on Monday, January 14, 2019 from 6:00 8:00 pm. Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 10:00 a.m., at St. Marys Catholic Church, 4050 South 3900 West, West Haven, UT 84401. There will be a luncheon after the to celebrate his life and memories you have of Charles. Inurnment will be scheduled at a later time. In lieu of flowers, Charles request is to have donations for Alzheimers Research.
