Charles L. Millspaw Jr., 91, passed away on April 12, 2012. He was born on August 9, 1920, to Charles L. and Mary Wood Millspaw; in Kansas City, Missouri. Charles graduated from Edinburg High School in Edinburg Texas. He Married Elizabeth (Betty) Lenore Otteson on September 28, 1941; in Idaho Falls, Idaho. On June 23, 1943, their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.He worked as a brick mason and later at Hill Air Force Base as an Instrument Repairman. He enjoyed ballroom dancing and Square and Round dancing-cueing for many years. Charles was an active member of the LDS Church; serving as Bishop and an Ogden Temple Ordinance worker. Charles is survived by his children; Diane of Roy; Brent of Ogden; Suzanne (William) Griffin of Ogden; Mary (Dale) Cottrell of Clearfield; his brother, Jack of Salt Lake City; 27 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, son, Bruce; sister, Virginia York; brother Gary; parents and grandson, Shaun Griffin. The family would like to thank Vista Care Hospice and his special caregivers, Liz Hall, Melody Parks, Kasey and Shaylee; for all their attentive care. Funeral services for Charles will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at the Lorin Farr 6th Ward building, 770 15th, Ogden, at 2:00 p.m. Friends and family may visit Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, and one hour prior to services at the Church.
