Obituary

Charles Marvin Randall, passed away September 7, 2011. He was born August 10, 1923 in Eagle, Colorado to Charles Henery Randall and Birdrithe A. Gibboney. He married Ellen Esther Gregg on August 14, 1942 in Grand Junction, CO.Marvin was a member of the Independent order of Odd Fellow, Ogden Lodge No.5, Mt. Ogden Encampment No. 19, Canton Colfax No. 1, Queen City Rebekah Lodge No. 4. He was also a member of the Washington Heights Baptist Church. He worked for Hill Air Force Base, retiring July, 1974. Marvin enjoyed camping, hunting, bowling, golfing, fishing, and traveling. In 64 years of marriage they traveled all over the United States as well as Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii, Alaska, and Figi. He is survived by his son Thomas B. Randall, 3 daughters: Carol Lee Misik, Diana M. Wright, Cheryle A. Nyland, 12 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren. Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, wife Ellen, and one son. A special thanks to the Country Pines staff and Hospice for Utah, for all their kind and tender care with Dad. Graveside services for Marvin will be held, Friday, September 9, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road, South Ogden.
