Cheryl Ann Carpio's Obituary

Cheryl Ann Bailey Carpio passed away on February 20, 2018, at her home. She was born on October 30, 1958, to Carol and Al Bailey in Barstow, California. After high school, she worked making floral arrangements. She married Ralph Carpio on May 11, 1979, in Plain City, Utah. They had two boys, Nick and Jason. Cheryl was amazing with her many talents, owning a ceramic shop, painting and making crafts. Among her various jobs, she worked at the IRS and later went to the OWATC to further her education as an Electrician. After graduation, she worked many years for Weber State University. Following that she was the Maintenance Supervisor at Heather Estates. She was amazing with tools. If it was broken she could fix it! She enjoyed watching the 49ers football games with her boys. Cheryl loved the outdoors, camping and fishing every chance she would get. Her boys and her grandkids were her most precious possessions, next to her fur children. If an animal needed a home, her home was it! She was an outgoing, loving, caring person. Everyone she came in contact with became instant family. She was the life of the party, there was never a dull moment if she was around. Cheryl is survived by Nick (Tasha) Carpio, Jason (Emily) Carpio, grandchildren Kyden, Ryley and Aceley and one great-grandson Zander. Sisters Debbie (Kevin) Crane and Pam (Mark) Murphy her brother Leonard (Tina) Bailey. Her friends Cindy Wagner and Morgan Campbell. All her Carpio sisters as well. Countless nieces and nephews, she loved with her whole heart. A special thanks to Ashley Denaster for helping with the Go-Fund-Me and everyone who has helped the family financially, bringing dinner and all the prayers, love and support have been absolutely amazing. Cheryl was preceded in death by her sweet Emma Carpio, Kevin Crane, and her parents, Carol and Al Bailey.
