South Jordan, UT Chyrrel Weaver Evertsen passed away at her home on November 5, 2017. Born on March 8, 1936, in Ogden, UT to Gladys and Porter Weaver, she was preceded in death by her sisters Donna Coletti and Lois Bodily, and two brothers, Jay and Dean Weaver. She is survived by her three children, Lisa Evertsen Kimes (Brad) of Phoenix, Brook Evertsen of Ogden, and Brett Evertsen (Sharee) of Layton. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Chyrrel went to Madison and Quincy Elementary, Washington Junior High, and graduated from Ogden High School. She attended the CS Wo Interior Design located in Hawaii. She was a member of the Salt Lake City Chamber of Commerce, working with the Womens Auxiliary and was named Chambers Woman of the Year in 1977. She participated in Bridge Club, enjoyed golfing and bowling. She was the CEO of her own leasing company C. Evertsen Leasing of Salt Lake City. She was always top salesperson wherever she worked. Chyrrel was also a top fashion model here in Salt Lake City. She worked for The Ramada Inn as an Executive Secretary to the General Manager. Her job allowed her to work with some famous people. She had dinner with John Wayne, assisted Elvis Presley, and hung out with the band Led Zepplin. Her lifetime passion was interior design. Chyrrel love Kentucky Fried Chicken and it was the main course at many family gatherings. She loved getting together with her large family in her parents backyard. She loved going to Lagoon and listening to the big bands that played on Saturday nights. She played the Accordion and the only songs she could play was Yes Sir Thats My Baby and When the Saints Come Marching In. She loved being a Mother and Grandmother, owning her own business and decorating. She has lived in Ogden and Salt Lake City, UT. Hawaii, and many cities in California, Las Vegas, NV, and Phoenix, AZ. She will be missed beyond words. She was loved by all who knew her.
