Clair was born in Preston, Idaho to Ruben and Jessie Sharp. He was 12 of 13 children. He was raised in Ogden, joined the Navy in 1960. He married Sandra Plyer in 1976. He worked for WR White Pipe for 30 years. He was transferred to Price, Ut in 1980 to open their office. He met many wonderful people as a sales associate. He loved his job and the people he worked with. After retiring he spent his winters in Yuma, Az. He loved to go fishing and remolding the different homes he lived in. He was preceded in death by all 12 of his brothers and sisters, by two sons Robert, Daren and brother-in-law Gary Plyer, niece Annette. He is survived by son Brian (Melissa) Sharp, daughter Stephanie (Bart) Ellison and Rod Nelson, 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. The family would like to thank CNS Hospice Home Care, for the loving care they gave Clair.
