Clara Irene Denver Skeen of Washington Terrace returned home to her Heavenly Father on May 2, 2012. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed by her family. She was born on November 4, 1918 in Fort Duchesne, Utah. She was a daughter of Louis and Mildred Denver. On December 9, 1947 she married Wilford "Jim" Skeen in Nevada. They were later sealed in the Logan LDS Temple. Jim passed away on April 8, 2001.She was a member of the Washington Terrace 3rd Ward.She is survived by her children, James A. Skeen, Ogden, Robert Skeen (Debbie), Clearfield, Sandra J. Cordon, Washington Terrace, 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 6 great great-grandchildren and a sister, Delores Bone of Ogden. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce Ann, her parents, 3 brothers and 1 great great-grandson. Funeral services were held on Friday, May 4, 2012 at Leavitts Mortuary.The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses on the 3rd floor at McKay Dee Hospital for the excellent care given to Clara.
