Clarence Herbert Johnson, 86, died peacefully Sunday, January 4, 2015 surrounded by family. Clarence was born December 23, 1928 to Donald Johnson and Verna Place Johnson in Ogden, Utah. He retired from Hill Air Force Base Utah. His hobbies were collecting antiques and old music. Clarence is survived by his wife, C. Darlene Frost Johnson and his children; Terry Martin Johnson, Jack Johnson, Shirley Smith Christensen (step-daughter), Thomas Dana Johnson, Patricia Lee Johnson, and Keith Wade Johnson. He has 20 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. He is also survived by his sister, Betsy Johnson Harvey and brother, Vern Johnson. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Ken Johnson and step-daughter Kathy Smith Guthrie. Memorial Services will be held Friday, January 9, 2015 at 11:00am, Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street Ogden, UT. At Clarences request, there will be no viewing. Arrangements are under the direction of Leavitts Mortuary.
