Colin Jozsef Ecsedy November 29, 1994 ~ November 19, 2019 Colin Jozsef Ecsedy, our dear son, brother and friend passed away suddenly on Nov. 19th at the age of 24. Born in Connecticut, Colin graduated from Davis High in 2013. He received his AS from Weber State in 2014 and his BS in Biological Engineering from Utah State in 2016, minoring in Chemistry, Biology and Math. He worked as an engineer in San Diego. Colin will be remembered as an extremely intelligent, hardworking, athletic and considerate young man. Colin leaves behind his loving parents: Susan and Steven Knap, and Mark Ecsedy and Elva Soleto; his siblings, Kathryn Ecsedy (Megan Montoya), Natasha and Richard Knap; stepsister Cassandra Miller; grandparents Rita Krajewski and Richard R Knap; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by grandparents Stanley Krajewski and Barbara Knap. His parents take comfort that Colin has been embraced in the arms of Our Heavenly Father, Our Lord Jesus Christ, where he now enjoys eternal life. A Catholic Memorial Chapel Service will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1100 E. 5550 S., Ogden, UT 84403 on Saturday, December 7, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Big Brothers, Big Sisters Program at nbbbs.org.
