Colleen Bernice Rohmer Frisby was born on October 14, 1936. She passed away on August 19, 2026 peacefully in her sleep. She grew up in Ogden and settled in Washington Terrace. She met Ned Frisby there and they were married in August 1953 and enjoyed a full life together including two children, Vicki Lyn Frisby Hellewell and Steven Ned Frisby.

Colleen worked at the Internal Revenue Service in Ogden as well as in the cafeteria at North Ogden Jr High School. Colleen and Ned served a mission in St. George Utah for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints providing tours and information about various church historical sites.

Colleen is survived by her son Steve Frisby his wife Kris, five grand-children,14 great-grand-children, and one great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by husband Ned Frisby and daughter Vicki Frisby.

Colleen will be remembered by her ability to take care of everyone around her and consider everyone a member of her family. She always brought a very bright light to any room along with a Diet Coke and piece of candy to share. Her family is incredibly thankful to the Staff and Management of Legacy House of Ogden for the outstanding love and care they provided for both Ned and Colleen.

A Graveside Service will be held on August 29th at 11:00 A.M. located at Leavitt's Mortuary & Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th Street, Ogden.
