Crestina Gloria Martinez, 62, passed away April 20, 2011. She was born June 17, 1948 to Tobias Medina and Epimenia Maestas in Del Norte, CO., where she attended Del Norte High School. She married Jose H. Martinez in Del Norte, CO., on February 29, 1964. Gloria enjoyed spending time with her loving husband, children, and grandchild. She enjoyed the time she spent with her sisters and brothers. She loved to collect cats, crocheting and spending time reading her bible and the time she spent with the Lord. She is survived by her husband Jose H. Martinez, sons Michael (Geraldine) Martinez, Walter (Annette) Martinez, daughter Charlene Martinez, all of Center, CO., her adopted daughter Alicia (Manuel) Gallegos of Ogden, UT., sisters, Fredia (Nacho) Valdez, Hyrum, UT., Nancy (Richard) Tahero, Ogden, UT., and brothers, Modesto (Barbara) Medina, Center, CO., Eddie (Becky) Medina, Monte Vista, CO., 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.Gloria was preceded in death by her parents and 8 brothers. Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 23, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. at Leavitts Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th Street, Ogden.
