Dan was born August 27, 1933 in Wilcox, AZ. He died November 23, 2014 at McKay Dee from kidney disease. He attended school in Mill City, Oregon, moved to Ogden, Utah in 1950. Served in Korea from 1951-1953. His father was John Wade Roten, mother was Mattie Upchurch Roten. He had five brothers and two sisters. He was on Eagle Scout and was a member to the Church of Christ of Min city, Oregon. He married Myrleen Haig, they were later divorced. On May 29, 1976 he married Josephine Knox Roten. She is the love of his life and soul mate. He had two step children from that marriage, Dave and Nelda Born. Sharon (Laroy) Wright has been his care taker for the last year. He also has many grandkids, numerous neices and nephews. He was loved very much and and will truly be missed. Dan is survived by brother Milton Roten of Will mina, Oregon and sister Edna Jane (Raymond) Postal. I would like to thank the doctors and staff for the loving and wonderful care they have given him the last year. Danny boy may you rest in peace.
