Dana May Hertzig Anderson, 84 peacefully passed away Monday August 5th, 2024. She was born March 17, 1940, in Burton Madison, Idaho to John Elden Hertzig and Bertha May Andersen.

She married the love of her life, Clive Balmforth Anderson in the Idaho Falls Temple on March 26, 1959. Dana and Clive lived in Rigby, Idaho, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Roy, Utah, Eustis and Plantation, Florida.

She was a hardworking wife and mother giving birth to and caring for 11 children. Passionate as a homemaker, she enjoyed interior design and turning a house into a home. She also found much love in warm weather and sunny skies.

For the entirety of her life, she was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She had a strong testimony and dedicated much of her time as a temple worker in the Orlando Temple. Strong willed and bold she was not afraid to talk about the God she loved.

She is survived by her children: Clive Loren (Dana) Anderson; Danette Irene (Kyle) Garrett; Bryce Eldon (Bonnie) Anderson; Gregory David (Suzanne) Anderson; Brent Douglas (Yvette) Anderson; Deven Charles Anderson; Danielle May (Peter) Rainey; Garren Drew (Deseree) Anderson; 26 Grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Valdi (Ron) Lofthouse; Gayla Olson; Cheri Lynn Walker; Stana White; and brother Eric Hertzig.

She is preceded in death by her husband Clive Balmforth Anderson; her children: Steven Dayna Anderson; Camden John Anderson; and daughter Sarah Anderson; her brothers Don Hertzig and Elden Hertzig.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, August 20th from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Leavitt's Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah.

A viewing prior to services will be held at 10:00 am followed by funeral services at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 21st at Leavitt's Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah.
