Daniel Kent McMillen, 39, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, October 19, 2014 at his home in Farr West, Utah. Daniel was born January 22, 1975 to Cathy Sausville and Maurice Havas in Ogden, Utah.
He was raised by his mother and loving stepfather William Claude McMillen (Mac), who he loved as his own father. Daniel graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1992. He also attended culinary school. He married Cynthia Dean on August 4, 2001. They were later divorced. From this union came his son Ash, his pride and joy. He married his middle school crush and love of his life, Nicole Valdez, April 6, 2012. From this union he gained Nicoles son Nick, who he loved as his own. He was recently reunited with his son Noah, and finally filled all the holes in his heart with his beautiful family.
In early life he loved the restaurant business and was General Manager at Applebees and the Timberlodge. He loved horror movies, watching and collecting. He loved to go for coffee with his mom to Hastings because he knew he would score a new blu-ray. Mac will miss Daniels early morning calls, and mutual obsession of the Broncos. Jacki will miss her little brother so much. Daniel loved telling jokes to Ma, and teasing her because she didnt get his humor. Daniels legacy will live on through his sons.
Since you save the best for last, Daniel loved every second of his life with Nicole. She will miss his laughter, his jokes, their endless conversations, and getting him hooked on reality shows. He will be her true love forever.
Daniel is survived by wife Nicole, sons Ash, Nick and Noah, his parents, sisters, grandparents, mother-in-law Toni (Ma), his stepmother Pat, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephew and many friends.
Daniel was preceded in death by his sister Staci, brother-in-law Michael Jr., son Brendon, Grandma Havas, Grandma Dona, and Uncle Bert.
