Dan Ovard Moore, 63, passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 27, 2015. Dan was born October 20, 1951, to Ruby & Vernon Moore in Ogden, Utah. He graduated from Roy High School. Dan married Bonnie Phipps on December 28, 1993 in Ogden, Utah. He was employed with Ogden City from which he retired. Dan loved camping, fishing, and working in his garden. He especially loved and enjoyed being with his family. Dan is survived by his wife, Bonnie; parents, Vern and Ruby; his brother, Thomas Moore, five step-children, Rachel (David) Phipps, Crystal Propst, Teresa (Josh) Anderson, Billy Woelfer, and Cindy Woelfer. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and was soon to be a great grandpa. Many aunts and other family members survive him. He is preceded in death by his sister in law, Mary Moore, grandparents, aunts, and uncles. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 2:00pm at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th St., Ogden, Ut. Family will greet friends Friday, May 29, 2015 from 6:00-8:00pm and Saturday from 1:00-1:45pm prior to services. Interment will be at Leavitts Aultorest Memorial Park.
