Obituary

Darrel Leroy Einspahr, 87, of Ogden Utah, passed away on July 1st after coming home on hospice with an intestinal blockage they were not able to perform surgery on. He was also battling a very rare cancer.

Darrel was born on April 17th, 1937, to Sylvester and Edna (Denker) Einspahr in Imperial Nebraska. After graduating from Chase County high school in 1955, he went on to study Agriculture at The University of Nebraska Graduating with a Bachelor of science in Agriculture. He moved to Ogden Utah where he worked for and retired from the United States Postal Service.

After retiring he went on to work at Ben Lomond Golf Course for many many years. He had a great love and passion for golf which he shared with his wife Linda, they spent as much time as they could out golfing, playing in many tournaments. Darrel and his friend built titanium golf clubs by special order. He loved being outdoors and watching any and every sport.

He also loved to travel with his wife Linda in their younger years. Darrel was the most amazing and caring man anyone had the privilege of knowing. He was an incredible Husband, Father and Grandfather he would go to any lengths to help anyone he could. He will be so dearly missed.

In 1961 he married Joan Des Roches and had two sons Jeff and Dean Einspahr and two grandsons Joshua and Brandon. They later divorced.

He Married Linda Einspahr on June 15th, 1984, she had 2 sons Chad and Blair Hansen. They had 3 Grandchildren Keaton Hansen-Goodwin, Adeline Hansen and Kaden Hansen. Darrel is survived by His brother Dale (Norma) Einspahr, His sisters Evonne Kragness and Dianne (Otis) Haarmeyer, His son Jeff Einspahr, his stepsons Chad and Blair Hansen and his Grandchildren Joshua and Brandon Einspahr and Keaton, Adeline and Kaden Hansen. Also, several nieces and nephews.

Darrel is proceeded in death by his parents Sylvester and Edna Einspahr, his wife Linda Einspahr, his brother Ronald Einspahr and his son Dean Einspahr.
