Darryl N. Bowers was born December 7, 1948 in Newcastle, PA. He Died June 29, 2012 at home, of a heart attack.Darryl grew up in Pennsylvania and as a teenager with his family moved to California, where he graduated from Verugo Hills High School in 1966, before serving in the Marines. Darryl moved to Utah in 1978 where he worked for Zantop and later Hill Air Force Base as an aircraft mechanic, retiring in 2009 after 30 years. Darryl was always hard working and always had projects he was working on. He enjoyed working on cars, boats or anything with an engine. He enjoyed gardening and home improvement and things that made the world around him a more beautiful place. Darryl always had time for family and friends or anyone who asked him for help or advice.Darryl is survived by his wife Carroll Bowers, Son Christopher Day-Bowers, Stepdaughter Teresa (Bryan) Hoag, Mother Ann Marie Bowers of California, Siblings Wendell (Deanna) Bowers, Chris Bowers, Beverly (William) Baxter, Debbie (Shawn) Mulcahey; grandchildren Jon, Nate, Dave, Ben, Liz; and numerous nieces and nephews.
