Dart W. Davis

Dart W. Davis, 61, from Ogden UT, passed away in his home on May 24, 2023, due to a two-year battle with cancer.

Dart was born September 15, 1961, to Robert and Marvel Davis in Ogden UT. He graduated from Bonneville High School in 1980. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1983 to 1989 and talked fondly of his time serving the country.  Dart worked for Smith's Food and Drug driving trucks for 36 years. He loved driving his 18-wheeler across Utah, Wyoming, and Idaho. Dart loved shooting Clay Pigeons. He and his gun "Martha" won many awards and tournaments together. He always had aspirations of traveling to different parts of the country to sharpen his skills and compete at national levels.

Toward the end of Dart's life, his ultimate dream was to buy a fifth wheeler and travel the Pacific Northwest region of the country, where he would teach his grandchildren to camp and fish and finally snap that picture with Bigfoot.

He is survived by his four-legged son Buddy, his son Austin, daughter Corbi, son-in-law Claudemir, and his grandkids Julia and Kaio as well as his siblings, Dirk, Darda, and Dio.

We will miss him as big as the sky!

There will be an informal celebration of life on June 2, 2023, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Leavitt's Mortuary 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah with a 6:00 p.m. Military Honors. Come with your sense of humor and best stories about Dart.
