David Lynn Dean was born in Ogden, Utah, to Joseph A. and Sharon K. Hulse Dean. David passed away May 11, 2017, peacefully in his sleep at home. He lived in Ogden all of his life and was very well known. He was a very loving teddy bear and made friends with everyone. He was very close and helpful to his mother. He enjoyed going to the Jazz games and he loved walking around Ogden. His main stop was the taco stand. He loved watching movies. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph A. Dean; nephew, Ryan Bush; and grandparents. He is survived by his mother, Sharon Miller; sisters, Kelly (Mike) Marquart, Linda (Tony) Martinez, Suzanne (Travis) Gibson, and Tina Ross; and many nieces and nephews. We would like to give a special thank you to Pryme Corp. (Sandra, Kaisha), and Kevin Sorensen (Linc), for helping to care for David and taking him out for many great adventures. A viewing will be held at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, on Monday, May 15th, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Tuesday, May 16th, from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 16th, at 11:00 AM at Leavitts Aultorest Memorial Park.
