David F. Morgan passed away peacefully at home on April 4th, 2023 after a two year battle with brain cancer.
He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, friend and especially grandpa. He was always willing to serve others and enjoyed caring for his grandkids.
David was born November 14th, 1955 in Hollywood California, to James Calvin Morgan Jr. and Patricia Louise Sheridan. Dave graduated from Kanab High School in 1974, and went on to study fire science at Weber State University. He was the middle child of three, Dennis (Tammy) Morgan, and Alan Brunsell. He married Deanne Judd on June 27, 1975 in the Provo Temple. They were blessed with 5 children, Amber (Fernando) Islas, Josh (Lena) Morgan, Brandi (Joel) Christensen, Shae (Anthony) Zufelt, Katie (Jared) Tesch, also 16 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
He served as a fireman in the Air Force for 4 yrs and continued as a civil service firefighter for another 25 years. He was able to retire early to spend time with his wife and family.
He loved playing games, racquetball, pickle ball, golf and loved watching his kids and grandkids sports games. His love language was through teasing and always made everything that much more fun.
He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. His greatest joy was knowing his Savior and served in many callings.
With his kind heart, gentle soul, and sense of humor, he will be greatly missed. Thanks for all the great memories.
As per Dave’s request, no funeral services will be held.
