David served honorably in the United States Marine Corps from 1965 to 1968. He will be remembered as a loving father whose greatest joy was found in the beauty of the outdoors and in the closeness of family. Whether he was setting up camp beneath the stars or heading into the woods on an early morning hunt, nature was a place of peace and renewal for him. Just as meaningful to David were the moments, he spent with his children, grandchildren, and closest friends Don, Randy, Doug and many others. He treasured sharing stories, passing along his love of the outdoors, and watching those he loved grow. His life leaves a lasting legacy of adventure, patience, and unconditional love.
Those who knew David will remember the way he shared stories, passed along his love of the outdoors, and offered steady patience and unconditional love. His family will carry forward the memories of those moments together, and his legacy will continue in the lives of the people he loved so deeply.
