Born August 17, 1932, at an early age David B. Rampton wanted to become a pilot like his uncle Ozzie Byrne. After his service in the Navy, he started on his dream and became a pilot. He married Marva Johnson in 1954 and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is survived by his wife Marva; his children Teri, Curtis (Donna), Ryan and Sandee (Chad); and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held Monday, March 25, 2019, from 6:00 8:00 pm at the Syracuse LDS Ward, 2339 West 1900 South, Syracuse, UT 84075. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at 11:00 am at the Syracuse Ward Chapel with a viewing from 10:00 10:45 am prior to the service. Interment at Syracuse Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Primary Childrens Hospital would be appreciated.
