David Norman Reeder's Obituary

On Thursday, October 25, 2018, David Norman Reeder passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by a room full of family he loved, and who deeply loved him. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He faithfully served as a Bishop; he was meek, compassionate, and a great listener. He was selfless, kind, and loving to all those who knew him. He was so loved by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Beth Kapp Reeder; his daughters, Shelley (Troy) Hancock and Allyson (Nathan) Randle; and his son, David (Taja) Reeder. He is survived by 11 grandchildren, one great grandchild; his siblings, Kathee Corry, Dan (Kaye) Reeder, Deanne (Bob) Krey, Norma (Dan) Nomura, and Colleen (Bill) Barker. David is preceded in death by his parents Norman, Rhea Reeder and brother-in-law, Larry Corry; and a granddaughter, Kate Randle. A viewing will be held Sunday, October 28, 2018, at Leavitt's Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah from 6:00 8:00 pm and on Monday, October 29, 2018, from 10:00 10:45 am at the Canyon Crest Ward Building LDS Church, 6350 Combe Road; Ogden, Utah with Funeral Services following at 11:00 am. Interment at Leavitts Aultorest Memorial Park.
