Obituary

Born April 13, 1957 in Ogden, Utah. He grew up in Clearfield and attended Wasatch Elementary, North Davis Jr. High and Clearfield High schools. Dave loved electronics and work in that field. He was very knowledgeable and willing to help if anyone needed help with their electrical problems. David served an LDS Mission in the Dallas, Texas Mission. He was always up for telling you his political views or to tell you about his laser disks. David was known to be a spinner of tall tales. His hobbies included motorcycle riding, reloading fishing. David loved fishing in his jet boat and shooting targets. David was married to Karen (no one seems to remember her last name), but they later divorced. He divorced the girl but kept the parrot. David was staying at Country Pines Retirement Community at the time of his passing. David's family would like to thank all the kind people who befriended and took care of him. He was preceded in death by his mother (Ann Hadlock of Ogden) and father (Linwood Smith of Deep Run North Carolina). He is survived by Scott T Smith, Diane Hudkins, Craig Smith, Mark Barns and Nancy Porter. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 9th at.
