Our beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away on June 11, 2016. He was born on September 25, 1933 in Salamanca, New York to Stanley Ford and Margaret Kessler. He graduated from Franklinville High School and spent most of his teen years in agriculture and enjoyed hunting and fishing in upstate New York. He devoted much of his life to the U.S. Air Force serving 23 years active service. He served in the Korean War and served tours of duty in the Vietnam wars. After his retirement from the military, he spent 18 years working in the Animal Service Division of Ogden City retiring in 1996. He is survived by two sisters, Shirley Myers and Nancy Conrad; his children Deborah Bauer of Phoenix, AZ and Robert Ford of Ogden, UT; three grandchildren, Bryan Bauer, Chase Ford and Chelsie Ford; four great children, Zachary Bauer, Hunter Bauer, Eliana Bauer and Emma Bauer. He was preceded in death by his son, Patrick Ford. Services will be private.
